After months in a dead-end relationship I finally decided it was time to move on. He wasn’t fulfilling my basic needs. My basic needs only consist of communication. If you can’t do that efficiently, then how are you suppose to meet the rest of my needs?
We as ladies try to stick it out, always hoping he’s gonna change. He’s going to get things right because he doesn’t want to lose “me”. But in actuality he’s not going to change. So we have to make a conscious decision to put up with his nonsense or get out. I decided to get out. They say that women are more mature than men and I totally agree. It seems as though most men aren’t really sure of what they want until they actually let it slip through their hands.

Last Monday night, I watched the finale of the Bachelor. America’s most hated bachelor Juan Pablo couldn’t decide who he really wanted to give his final rose too. He treated one woman in particular, Claire unfairly. With her heart set out for love she allowed her physical attraction to get in the way of her better judgement. Juan Pablo repeatedly said disrespectful comments to her which should have raised red flags but she chose to ignore it because she was so desperately seeking love.
Ladies we must remember that no matter how bad we want to be loved by a man we must love ourselves first. We have to give them our minds before we give them our heart because it’s easier to heal the mind than it is to get over a broken heart.
